Indication
- Productive cough with thick mucus - Acute and chronic bronchitis - Tracheobronchitis - Bronchiectasis - Emphysema with bronchitis
Ingredients
- Bromhexine Hydrochloride
Direction
Take one 8mg tablet orally three times daily. It is best taken after meals with plenty of fluids to help loosen mucus.
Side effects
- Nausea and vomiting
- Gastric discomfort or pain
- Dizziness or headache
- Skin rash or urticaria
- Diarrhea
Precautions
- History of gastric ulceration
- Severe hepatic or renal impairment
- Hypersensitivity to bromhexine
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Discontinue if skin rash occurs
