Indication
Antibacterial/antiprotozoal gel (topical)
Ingredients
- Metronidazole USP 10mg per gram in water soluble gel base
Direction
Apply and rub in a thin film of Metrogyl Gel twice daily, morning and evening, to entire affected area after washing, or as directed by the physician. Puncture nozzle seal with piercing point of cap. Replace cap after use.
Side effects
- Common: nausea
- metallic taste
- headache
- loss of appetite
- abdominal cramps. Rare: peripheral neuropathy
- seizures
- dark urine
- pancreatitis
- hepatotoxicity.
