Treatment of severe nodulocystic acne
Ingredients
- Isotretinoin BP 10mg
Direction
As directed by the physician. Oral route.
Side effects
- Common: dry skin
- cheilitis (dry lips)
- dry eyes
- nosebleeds
- myalgia
- elevated lipids. Rare: teratogenicity (Category X)
- depression
- IBD
- hepatotoxicity
- pseudotumor cerebri.
Precautions
- Warning to Female Patients: This medicine may cause severe birth defects. You must not take this medicine if you are pregnant or may likely become pregnant during treatment. Keep the medicine out of reach of children. Please read enclosed leaflet carefully before use.
