Indication
Antacid + Antiflatulent
Ingredients
- Simethicone USP (30%) 83mg
- Calcium Carbonate B.P. 400mg
- Magnesium Hydroxide B.P. 120mg
- Magnesium Trisilicate B.P. 50mg per 5ml
Direction
2 teaspoonfuls 1/2 to 1 hour after meals. Liquid for oral administration. Shake well before use.
Side effects
- Common: abdominal cramping
- abdominal cramps
- bloating
- constipation
- diarrhea
- flatulence
- generally well tolerated
- nausea. Rare: bloating
- electrolyte disturbances
- hypercalcemia
- hypermagnesemia (renal impairment)
- mild GI discomfort
- milk
- alkali syndrome (chronic high doses).
Precautions
- Do not take within 2 hours of other medicines (may reduce absorption). Not for long
- term use without medical advice. Consult doctor if symptoms persist.
