Siam Tablets Al(OH)3 200mg + Mg(OH)2 200mg + Simethicone 25mg per tablet

Indication

Symptomatic relief of pain due to peptic ulcer, hiatus hernia, acute & chronic recurrent gastritis, dyspepsia, all other forms of gastric hyperacidity and flatulence

Ingredients

• Aluminium Hydroxide Dried Gel USP 200mg
• Magnesium Hydroxide USP 200mg
• Simethicone USP 25mg

Direction

One to two tablets to be chewed slowly after meals and at bed time or whenever symptoms occur, or as directed by the physician

Side effects

• Common: generally well tolerated
• occasional bloating
• mild abdominal discomfort
• constipation
• chalky taste
• nausea
• diarrhea
• abdominal cramps. Rare: allergic reactions (very rare)
• hypophosphatemia (long
• term)
• aluminum accumulation (renal impairment)
• osteomalacia
• hypermagnesemia (renal impairment)
• electrolyte imbalance.

Precautions

• Do not take within 2 hours of other medicines (may reduce absorption). Not for long
• term use without medical advice. Consult doctor if symptoms persist.
