Indication
Fluid and electrolyte replenishment
Ingredients
- Sodium Chloride 0.9g per 100ml (Na+ 154
- Cl
- 154 mmol/L
- mOsmol/L 308)
Direction
As directed by physician. For intravenous use.
Side effects
- Common: injection site reactions
- fluid overload (excessive administration). Rare: hypernatremia
- hyperchloremic metabolic acidosis
- pulmonary edema.
Precautions
- Do not use if container is found leaking upon squeezing or solution is not clear. Solution containing visible solid particles must not be used. Keep medicines out of reach of children.
