Indication
Bacterial infections susceptible to ampicillin
Ingredients
- Ampicillin Sodium equivalent to 1g Ampicillin
Direction
For I.M./I.V. Injection. As directed by physician.
Side effects
- Common: diarrhea
- nausea
- vomiting
- skin rash. Rare: anaphylaxis
- C. difficile colitis
- interstitial nephritis
- blood disorders.
Precautions
- Check for penicillin allergy before use. Complete the full course as prescribed. May cause diarrhea
- nausea
- or skin rash. Seek medical attention if allergic reaction occurs (rash
- swelling
- difficulty breathing).
