Indication
Combination biguanide and sulfonylurea for type 2 diabetes mellitus
Ingredients
- Metformin Hydrochloride BP 500mg (Sustained Release) + Glimepiride BP 2mg
Direction
As directed by the physician. Tablet should be swallowed whole and not to be chewed or crushed.
Side effects
- Common: abdominal pain
- decreased appetite
- diarrhea
- dizziness
- headache
- hypoglycemia
- metallic taste
- nausea. Rare: blood disorders
- hepatotoxicity
- hyponatremia
- lactic acidosis
- severe hypoglycemia
- vitamin B12 deficiency.
