Indication
- Hypertension (high blood pressure) - Angina pectoris - Cardiac arrhythmias - Migraine prophylaxis - Essential tremor - Hyperthyroidism symptom management - Post-myocardial infarction recovery - Performance anxiety management
Ingredients
- Propranolol Hydrochloride
Direction
Take orally, usually 2 to 4 times daily depending on the condition being treated. Follow your doctor's instructions exactly and do not stop taking it suddenly.
Side effects
- Fatigue and lethargy
- Cold extremities
- Slow heart rate (bradycardia)
- Sleep disturbances or nightmares
- Nausea or stomach cramps
Precautions
- Do not stop treatment abruptly
- Contraindicated in asthma or COPD
- May mask hypoglycemia in diabetics
- Monitor heart rate for bradycardia
- Caution in peripheral vascular disease
