Indication

- Thick bronchial secretions - Acute and chronic bronchitis - Respiratory tract congestion - Mucus thinning in lung disease

Direction

Dissolve the contents of the sachet in half a glass of water and drink immediately. Usually taken three times daily for the 200mg dosage or as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Nausea or vomiting
• Abdominal pain
• Skin rash or hives
• Mouth inflammation (stomatitis)
• Rare bronchospasm in asthma patients

Precautions

• History of peptic ulcers
• Patients with bronchial asthma
• Contains aspartame (phenylketonuria caution)
• Avoid use if hypersensitive to acetylcysteine
