Indication
Medicine for gastric pain and bloating. Reduces stomach ulcer symptoms due to excess stomach acid. Heartburn, acid indigestion, bloating.
Ingredients
- Hydrotalcite 200mg
- Magnesium Hydroxide 150mg
- Simethicone 50mg per sachet (7ml)
Direction
Adults & children >12 years: 1-2 sachets, 3-4 times daily. Children 6-12 years: 1/2-1 sachet, 3-4 times daily or as per doctor prescription. Shake well before use. 1. Tear sachet. 2. Take it directly. 3. Throw away sachet.
Side effects
- Common: generally well tolerated
- occasional bloating
- mild abdominal discomfort
- diarrhea
- abdominal cramps
- nausea
- constipation or diarrhea. Rare: allergic reactions (very rare)
- hypermagnesemia (renal impairment)
- electrolyte imbalance
- hypophosphatemia.
Precautions
- Do not take within 2 hours of other medicines (may reduce absorption). Not for long
- term use without medical advice. Consult doctor if symptoms persist.
