Indication

Severe bacterial infections susceptible to meropenem

Ingredients

• Meropenem Trihydrate equivalent to Meropenem USP 1000mg
• Sodium Carbonate Anhydrous USP (equivalent to 94.2mg sodium)

Direction

As directed by the Physician. Dissolve the contents of vial in 20ml Sterile Water for Injection USP provided with this pack. The reconstituted solution should be used immediately after preparation.

Side effects

• Common: diarrhea
• nausea
• vomiting
• headache
• injection site inflammation
• rash. Rare: seizures
• C. difficile colitis
• anaphylaxis
• thrombocytopenia
• hepatotoxicity.

Precautions

• If any foreign particle is visible in the vial after dissolving the content
• please do not use and return for replacement. Keep all medicine out of reach of children. On medical prescription only. Improper storage condition may deteriorate the quality of product.
