Indication
Severe bacterial infections susceptible to meropenem
Ingredients
- Meropenem Trihydrate equivalent to Meropenem USP (sterile) 1g
- Sodium Carbonate Anhydrous USP 217mg (equivalent to 94.2mg sodium)
Direction
On medical prescription only. See enclosed leaflet.
Side effects
- Common: diarrhea
- nausea
- vomiting
- headache
- injection site inflammation
- rash. Rare: seizures
- C. difficile colitis
- anaphylaxis
- thrombocytopenia
- hepatotoxicity.
Precautions
- Keep out of reach of children. Do not accept if seal is broken.
