Indication
GERD, acid-related disorders (intravenous)
Ingredients
- Esomeprazole Sodium eq. to Esomeprazole 40mg (as Sterile & Lyophilized Powder) + 10ml Sterile Sodium Chloride Injection B.P.
Direction
As directed by the Physician. Dissolve the contents of the vial in given Sterile Sodium Chloride Injection B.P. and use immediately.
Side effects
- Common: headache
- nausea
- diarrhea
- abdominal pain
- flatulence. Rare: C. difficile infection
- bone fractures (long
- term)
- hypomagnesemia
- vitamin B12 deficiency
- kidney disease
- interstitial nephritis.
Precautions
- Keep all medicines out of reach of children. Use the vial only once and discard the vial. Use freshly prepared solution. If any foreign particle is visible in the vial after reconstitution of contents
- please do not use the solution & return the vial for free replacement.
