Indication
GERD, peptic ulcer, acid-related disorders (intravenous)
Ingredients
- Omeprazole Sodium (Sterile) BP eq. to Omeprazole 40mg + 10ml F.F.S. ampoule Sterile Sodium Chloride Injection USP
Direction
As directed by the physician. Dissolve the contents of vial with 10ml Sterile Sodium Chloride Injection U.S.P. (provided in this pack). The reconstituted solution should be used immediately after preparation. For Intravenous Use Only.
Side effects
- Common: headache
- nausea
- diarrhea
- abdominal pain
- flatulence. Rare: C. difficile infection
- bone fractures (long
- term)
- hypomagnesemia
- vitamin B12 deficiency
- kidney disease.
Precautions
- Keep the medicine out of reach of children.
