Indication
GERD, peptic ulcer, acid-related disorders (intravenous)
Ingredients
- Lyophilized Powder Omeprazole Sodium equivalent to Omeprazole 40mg + Water for Injection 10ml ampoule
Direction
On medical prescription only. See enclosed leaflet. After reconstitution with WFI, the stability of Lyovepraz Injection is 4 hours at temperatures below 30°C.
Side effects
- Common: headache
- nausea
- diarrhea
- abdominal pain
- flatulence. Rare: C. difficile infection
- bone fractures (long
- term)
- hypomagnesemia
- vitamin B12 deficiency
- kidney disease.
Precautions
- Take before meals. Not for immediate relief of heartburn. Long
- term use may reduce magnesium and calcium absorption — consult doctor for prolonged use. May interact with certain medicines (e.g.
- clopidogrel).
