Indication

Antitussives and Expectorant. Paroxysmal cough, bronchial asthma, cough caused by acute and chronic bronchitis, acute and chronic throat-sore, acute and chronic respiratory organs diseases.

Ingredients

• Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 10mg
• Guaiacol Glycerin Ether 40mg
• DL
• Methylephedrine HCl 20mg
• Chlorpheniramine Maleate 4mg
• Benzyl Alcohol 20mg

Side effects

• Common: drowsiness
• dry mouth
• blurred vision
• constipation
• urinary retention
• dizziness
• nausea
• stomach upset. Rare: seizures (overdose)
• severe allergic reactions
• blood dyscrasias
• serotonin syndrome (with SSRIs)
• hallucinations (overdose)
• respiratory depression.

Precautions

• May cause significant drowsiness — do not drive or operate machinery. Avoid alcohol. Use with caution in elderly patients
• glaucoma
• and urinary retention.
