Indication
In treatment of acute myocardial infarction (heart attack), for prevention of heart attack in certain high risk group patients and for prevention of stroke after transient ischaemic attack (TIA)
Ingredients
- Aspirin 100mg
Direction
1 capsule daily to be taken with a glass of water. Calendar pack - start to use your Casprin Calendar pack 'TAKE FIRST'. On following day take the next capsule that corresponds with the day of the week.
Side effects
- Common: stomach irritation
- heartburn
- nausea
- dyspepsia. Rare: GI bleeding
- tinnitus
- allergic reactions
- Reye's syndrome (children)
- bronchospasm.
Precautions
- The use of Aspirin in children under the age of 16 years is not recommended.
