Calcibone Calcium lactate gluconate 720mg per 10ml ampoule

Indication

Supplements calcium and vitamins for the body. Helps improve symptoms of calcium deficiency and osteoporosis.

Ingredients

• Calcium lactate gluconate 720mg (equivalent to 90.0mg of calcium)
• Vitamin D (as cholecalciferol) 100 IU
• Vitamin C (as ascorbic acid) 100mg
• Vitamin PP (as nicotinamide) 7.5mg

Direction

Child 7 years and over and Adult: 10-20ml daily (equivalent to 1-2 ampoules). Child (2 years - under 7 years): 5-10ml daily (equivalent to 1/2 - 1 ampoule). Child under 2 years: Consult a doctor or pharmacist. Take in the morning and afternoon. DO NOT INJECT.

Side effects

• Common: GI discomfort at high doses
• diarrhea
• generally well tolerated at recommended doses. Rare: constipation
• hemolysis (G6PD deficiency)
• hypercalcemia
• kidney stones (high doses)
• nausea.

Precautions

• Do not inject. Dispose the ampoule after use.
