Indication
Treatment of severe recalcitrant nodular acne
Ingredients
- Isotretinoin 10mg
Direction
As directed by physician. Usually 0.5-1mg/kg/day in divided doses with food
Side effects
- Common: dry skin/lips
- nosebleeds
- joint pain. Serious: birth defects
- depression
- liver toxicity
Precautions
- CONTRAINDICATED in pregnancy. Monthly pregnancy tests required. Do not donate blood during treatment.
