Indication
Treatment of bacterial infections including upper and lower respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, sinusitis, otitis media
Ingredients
- Amoxicillin 500mg + Clavulanic Acid 125mg
Direction
Adults: 1 tablet every 8 hours. Take at the start of a meal. Complete the full course as prescribed.
Side effects
- Diarrhoea
- nausea
- vomiting
- skin rash
- abdominal discomfort
- candidiasis
- headache
Precautions
- Contraindicated in penicillin allergy. Use with caution in hepatic impairment. Monitor liver function during prolonged use. History of cholestatic jaundice with amoxicillin/clavulanate is a contraindication.
