Indication
Congestive heart failure, hepatic cirrhosis with ascites, nephrotic syndrome, edema associated with renal disease
Ingredients
- Furosemide 40mg + Spironolactone 50mg
Direction
Adults: 1-2 tablets daily as directed by physician. Take in the morning to avoid nighttime urination. Take with food to reduce stomach upset.
Side effects
- Dizziness
- dehydration
- electrolyte imbalance
- hyperkalemia
- hyponatremia
- gynecomastia
- muscle cramps
- nausea
Precautions
- Contraindicated in anuria
- severe renal impairment
- hyperkalemia
- Addison's disease. Monitor serum potassium and renal function regularly. Avoid potassium supplements.
