Indication
Eradication of Helicobacter pylori infection in patients with peptic ulcer disease or gastritis
Ingredients
- Lansoprazole 30mg
- Clarithromycin 500mg
- Amoxicillin 1000mg
Direction
Take all three drugs together twice daily (morning and evening) for 7-14 days as prescribed. Take before meals.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- nausea
- taste disturbance
- headache
- abdominal pain. Rarely: C. difficile
- associated diarrhea
- hepatotoxicity
Precautions
- Complete the full course of treatment. Not for use in penicillin
- allergic patients. Caution with liver disease. May interact with warfarin
- carbamazepine
- and other drugs.
