Indication
Treatment of bacterial infections: upper and lower respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, gonorrhea
Ingredients
- Cefpodoxime Proxetil 200mg
Direction
Adults: 1 tablet (200mg) twice daily with food for better absorption. Duration: 5-14 days depending on infection. Complete the full course of treatment.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- nausea
- vomiting
- abdominal pain
- headache
- rash. Rare: Clostridium difficile
- associated diarrhea
- allergic reactions.
Precautions
- Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins or penicillins. Use with caution in renal impairment. Inform physician if symptoms persist or worsen. Prescription required.
