Nebanol Ointment Neomycin 5mg/g + Bacitracin 500 IU/g ointment

Indication

Treatment and prevention of bacterial skin infections including infected wounds, burns, skin grafts, eczema, impetigo, and minor cuts and abrasions

Ingredients

• Neomycin Sulfate 5mg/g
• Bacitracin Zinc 500 IU/g

Direction

Apply a thin layer to the affected area 2-3 times daily. Clean wound before application. May be covered with a sterile bandage.

Side effects

• Local irritation
• itching
• redness
• contact dermatitis. Rarely: allergic hypersensitivity reactions

Precautions

• For external use only. Do not apply to large areas of damaged skin (risk of systemic absorption of neomycin). Discontinue if sensitization occurs. Avoid prolonged use.
