Indication
Type 2 diabetes
Ingredients
- Vildagliptin 50mg + Metformin 1000mg
Direction
Take twice daily with meals
Side effects
- Nausea
- vomiting
- diarrhea
- abdominal pain
- dizziness
- headache
- tremor
- hypoglycemia (when combined with sulfonylurea)
Precautions
- Contraindicated in severe renal or hepatic impairment
- diabetic ketoacidosis
- metabolic acidosis. Monitor liver function before starting and periodically. Risk of lactic acidosis. Discontinue before contrast media procedures.
