Indication
Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Helps control blood sugar levels.
Ingredients
- Metformin Hydrochloride 850mg
Direction
Take 1 tablet 1-2 times daily with meals. Swallow whole, do not crush or chew. As directed by a physician.
Side effects
- Nausea
- vomiting
- diarrhea
- abdominal pain
- taste disturbance
- decreased appetite. Rare: lactic acidosis.
Precautions
- Not for type 1 diabetes. Contraindicated in severe renal impairment
- hepatic insufficiency
- and conditions with risk of lactic acidosis. Discontinue before contrast imaging procedures.
