Indication
Treatment of hypertension in patients requiring combination therapy. Reduces risk of stroke and heart attack.
Ingredients
- Amlodipine 5mg + Atenolol 50mg
Direction
Adults: 1 tablet once daily. Take at the same time each day. Do not stop abruptly without medical advice.
Side effects
- Fatigue
- dizziness
- peripheral oedema
- bradycardia
- cold extremities
- nausea
- headache
- hypotension
Precautions
- Do not stop abruptly
- may cause rebound hypertension. Contraindicated in severe bradycardia
- heart block
- uncontrolled heart failure. Use with caution in diabetes
- asthma. Not for use in pregnancy.
