Indication
Treatment of hypertension in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with either component alone
Ingredients
- Amlodipine 5mg + Losartan Potassium 50mg
Direction
Adults: 1 tablet once daily. May be taken with or without food. Take at the same time each day.
Side effects
- Dizziness
- peripheral oedema
- headache
- fatigue
- hypotension
- hyperkalemia
- upper respiratory tract infection
Precautions
- Contraindicated in pregnancy (risk of foetal harm). Use with caution in renal artery stenosis
- volume depletion
- and hepatic impairment. Monitor potassium levels.
