Indication
Treatment of bacterial infections of the eye (conjunctivitis, keratitis, blepharitis) and ear (otitis externa)
Ingredients
- Gentamicin Sulfate (equivalent to Gentamicin 0.3%) eye/ear drops
Direction
Eye: Instill 1-2 drops into the affected eye every 4-6 hours. Ear: Instill 2-3 drops into the affected ear 3-4 times daily. As directed by physician.
Side effects
- Temporary burning/stinging upon instillation
- blurred vision (eye drops)
- local irritation. Rare: allergic reactions.
Precautions
- Do not touch dropper tip to any surface. Discard 4 weeks after opening. Do not use if eardrum is perforated (ear drops). Prescription required.
