Indication

Treatment of intestinal worm infestations including roundworm, hookworm, whipworm, pinworm, and tapeworm infections

Ingredients

• Albendazole 400mg

Direction

Adults and children over 2 years: Single dose of 400mg (1 tablet). May be chewed, swallowed whole, or crushed and mixed with food. Repeat after 2-3 weeks if needed.

Side effects

• Abdominal pain
• nausea
• vomiting
• diarrhoea
• headache
• dizziness
• elevated liver enzymes (rare)

Precautions

• Not recommended in pregnancy or children under 2 years. Use with caution in hepatic impairment. Monitor liver function during prolonged treatment.
