Indication
Treatment of intestinal worm infections: roundworm (ascariasis), hookworm, whipworm (trichuriasis), pinworm (enterobiasis), tapeworm, and mixed helminthic infections
Ingredients
- Albendazole 400mg
Direction
Adults and children over 2 years: 1 tablet (400mg) as a single dose. For some infections, may repeat after 2-3 weeks. Take with food for better absorption.
Side effects
- Abdominal pain
- nausea
- vomiting
- diarrhea
- headache
- dizziness. Rare: hepatotoxicity
- leukopenia (with prolonged use).
Precautions
- Contraindicated in pregnancy and children under 2 years. Monitor liver function and blood counts during prolonged treatment. Take with fatty food for improved absorption.
