Indication
Relief of cough, nasal congestion, sneezing, and runny nose associated with common cold, flu, and upper respiratory tract infections
Ingredients
- Dextromethorphan HBr
- Pseudoephedrine HCl
- Triprolidine HCl
Direction
Adults: 10ml 3-4 times daily. Children 6-12 years: 5ml 3-4 times daily. Take as directed by physician.
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- dizziness
- dry mouth
- nausea
- nervousness
- insomnia (from pseudoephedrine). Rare: urinary retention
- palpitations.
Precautions
- May cause drowsiness
- avoid driving. Not for children under 6 years. Avoid in hypertension
- thyroid disease
- or MAO inhibitor use. Avoid alcohol.
