Indication
Treatment of fungal skin infections including athlete's foot (tinea pedis), ringworm (tinea corporis), jock itch (tinea cruris), and yeast infections (candidiasis)
Ingredients
- Ketoconazole 2% w/w
Direction
Apply a thin layer to the affected area and surrounding skin 1-2 times daily. Continue treatment for 2-6 weeks or as directed. Continue for at least a few days after symptoms resolve.
Side effects
- Mild burning
- stinging
- itching
- or redness at application site. Rarely: contact dermatitis
- skin dryness
Precautions
- For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes
- mouth
- and open wounds. Complete the full course even if symptoms improve. Consult doctor if no improvement after 4 weeks.
