HL-Dine Solution 10% 10%

Indication

Topical antiseptic for prevention of infection in minor cuts, wounds, scrapes, and burns. Pre- and post-operative skin disinfection.

Ingredients

• Povidone
• Iodine 10% (equivalent to 1% available iodine)

Direction

Apply directly to affected area or use to clean wound. May be used undiluted or diluted as directed. Allow to dry. Reapply as needed. For external use only.

Side effects

• Local skin irritation
• staining of skin and clothing (temporary)
• rare: allergic reactions
• thyroid dysfunction with prolonged or extensive use.

Precautions

• For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use on deep wounds
• animal bites
• or serious burns. Contraindicated in iodine allergy and thyroid disorders. Not for neonates.
