Indication
Treatment of bacterial infections including otitis media, upper and lower respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, and skin infections
Ingredients
- Cefaclor 125mg per 5mL (as Cefaclor Monohydrate)
Direction
Children: 20-40mg/kg/day in divided doses every 8 hours. Usual dose: 125-250mg three times daily. Shake well before use.
Side effects
- Diarrhoea
- nausea
- vomiting
- skin rash
- urticaria
- abdominal pain
- headache
Precautions
- Contraindicated in cephalosporin or penicillin allergy (cross
- sensitivity possible). Use with caution in renal impairment. Complete full course of treatment.
