SA-72 Tablets 1.5mg

Indication

Emergency contraception (morning-after pill); to be used within 72 hours after unprotected intercourse or contraceptive failure

Ingredients

• Levonorgestrel 1.5mg

Direction

Take 1 tablet as soon as possible within 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected intercourse. The sooner it is taken, the more effective it is. Can be taken with or without food.

Side effects

• Nausea
• vomiting
• headache
• dizziness
• fatigue
• breast tenderness
• abdominal pain
• irregular menstrual bleeding

Precautions

• Not for regular contraception. Does not protect against sexually transmitted infections. Efficacy decreases with time after intercourse. If vomiting occurs within 3 hours
• take another tablet. Consult physician if menstrual period is delayed by more than 7 days.
