Indication
Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, musculoskeletal disorders, acute gout, post-operative pain
Ingredients
- Tenoxicam 20mg
Direction
Adults: 1 tablet (20mg) once daily. For acute gout: 40mg once daily for 2 days then 20mg daily for 5 days. Take with food.
Side effects
- Nausea
- dyspepsia
- abdominal pain
- diarrhea
- headache
- dizziness
- GI bleeding (rare)
- skin rash
Precautions
- Avoid in active peptic ulcer
- severe hepatic/renal impairment
- third trimester pregnancy. Use lowest effective dose for shortest duration. Caution in elderly
- cardiovascular disease
- and asthma patients.
