Take one tablet as soon as possible within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse.

Side effects

Precautions

Not intended for regular contraceptive use
for emergency use only within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse.
Effectiveness decreases with time — take as soon as possible after unprotected sex.
Not effective if pregnancy has already occurred.
Do not use if hypersensitive to levonorgestrel.
Use with caution in women with severe liver disease
unexplained vaginal bleeding
or a history of ectopic pregnancy.
May interact with certain medicines including rifampicin
anticonvulsants (e.g. phenytoin
carbamazepine)
and HIV medicines — consult a doctor.
Seek medical attention if severe abdominal pain occurs after use (possible ectopic pregnancy).
Not suitable as a substitute for regular contraception.
