CTZ Tab. 10mg

Indication

Symptomatic treatment of perennial allergic rhinitis, seasonal allergic rhinitis including sneezing, rhinorrhea, nasal pruritus, ocular pruritus, tearing and redness of the eyes. Treatment of uncomplicated skin manifestations of chronic idiopathic urticaria.

Ingredients

• Cetirizine dihydrochloride 10mg

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and older: 10mg (1 tablet) once daily. In patients with renal and hepatic impairment: 5mg once daily.

Side effects

• Drowsiness
• dry mouth
• fatigue
• headache.

Precautions

• Do not use if hypersensitive to cetirizine
• hydroxyzine
• or any piperazine derivative.
• Use with caution in patients with renal impairment — dose reduction may be required.
• Use with caution in patients with epilepsy or at risk of convulsions.
• May cause somnolence (drowsiness)
• caution when driving or operating machinery.
• Avoid alcohol during treatment.
• Use with caution in elderly patients.
• Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
