Do not use in patients with hypophosphataemia (low blood phosphate) or aluminium accumulation disorders.
Use with caution in patients with renal impairment — aluminium may accumulate.
Prolonged high
dose use may cause constipation and electrolyte imbalance.
May reduce absorption of some medicines (e.g. tetracyclines
fluoroquinolones
iron) — take 2 hours apart.
Consult a doctor before use in children
elderly
or pregnant/breastfeeding women.
Keep out of reach of children.
