Indication
Vitamin C deficiency (Scorbut/Scurvy), Fatigue (Asthénie), Overwork (Surmenage), Convalescence, Infectious conditions (Conditions infectieuses)
Ingredients
- Acide ascorbique (Ascorbic acid) 500mg
Direction
1 to 2 tablets per day. Preferably do not exceed 1g per day. Swallow with a large glass of water. Preferably not at end of the day. Voie Orale (oral route).
Side effects
- Consult your pharmacist or doctor for information about side effects.
Precautions
- Do not exceed the recommended dose — high doses of Vitamin C (>1 g/day) may cause gastrointestinal disturbances and increase the risk of oxalate kidney stones.
- Use with caution in patients with history of kidney stones (renal oxalate calculi) or renal impairment.
- High doses of Vitamin C may interfere with some diagnostic laboratory tests (e.g. glucose
- stool occult blood).
- Use with caution in patients with haemochromatosis or other iron overload conditions as Vitamin C enhances iron absorption.
- Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Keep out of reach of children.
