Indication

Muscle pain, topical analgesic

Ingredients

• Menthol 28.0g
• Camphor 16.0g
• Methyl Salicylate (per 100g)
• Base Q.S. to 100.0g

Direction

Apply and massage to affected area

Side effects

• Local cooling sensation
• mild skin irritation. Avoid contact with eyes.

Precautions

• For external use only
• avoid contact with eyes
• mucous membranes
• and broken or irritated skin.
• Do not apply to open wounds or large areas of skin.
• Do not use in children under 2 years without medical advice.
• Prolonged or excessive use over large areas may increase absorption of salicylates — use with caution in patients with aspirin sensitivity.
• Do not bandage or apply heat over treated area as absorption may increase and cause adverse effects.
• Do not use during pregnancy (especially the third trimester) without medical advice — methyl salicylate is absorbed through the skin.
• Consult a doctor if pain persists more than 7 days or worsens.
• Keep out of reach of children — camphor and methyl salicylate can be toxic if ingested.
