Indication
Neuropathic pain, epilepsy, generalized anxiety disorder
Direction
Take 75mg twice daily. May increase to 300mg/day after one week. Taper when stopping.

Precautions
- Do not use if hypersensitive to pregabalin or any excipient.
- May cause dizziness and somnolence β do not drive or operate heavy machinery until effects are known.
- Abrupt discontinuation may cause withdrawal symptoms (insomnia
- nausea
- headache
- anxiety) β taper dose gradually under medical supervision.
- Use with caution in patients with renal impairment β dose reduction required.
- May cause peripheral oedema and weight gain β use with caution in patients with heart failure.
- Concomitant use with CNS depressants (including opioids
- benzodiazepines
- alcohol) increases risk of respiratory depression and CNS depression.
- Has been associated with misuse and dependence β use with caution in patients with a history of substance abuse.
- Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy β may harm the foetus.
- Suicidal thoughts and behaviour have been reported β monitor closely.
- Keep out of reach of children.
