Indication

Oral contraceptive

Ingredients

• Levonorgestrel 0.15mg
• Ethinyl Estradiol 0.03mg

Direction

Take one tablet once daily with water. Complete the full course.

Side effects

• Nausea
• headache
• fatigue
• breast tenderness
• irregular bleeding.

Precautions

• Contraindicated in women with a history of or current thromboembolic disorders (deep vein thrombosis
• pulmonary embolism).
• Contraindicated in women with a history of stroke or ischaemic heart disease.
• Contraindicated in women with known or suspected hormone
• sensitive malignancies including breast cancer.
• Contraindicated in women with active liver disease or a history of liver tumors.
• Contraindicated during pregnancy or suspected pregnancy.
• Smokers aged 35 and over face significantly higher risk of serious cardiovascular events
• alternative contraception is recommended.
• Monitor blood pressure before and during use
• discontinue if sustained hypertension develops.
• Efficacy may be reduced by enzyme
• inducing drugs (e.g.
• rifampicin
• carbamazepine
• phenytoin
• St. John's Wort).
• Does not protect against sexually transmitted infections or HIV.
• Stop immediately and seek medical attention if sudden chest pain
• difficulty breathing
• leg swelling
• severe headache
• or visual disturbance occurs.
• Use with caution in women with diabetes
• dyslipidaemia
• or migraine with aura.
• Keep out of reach of children.
