Decolgen Forte Paracetamol 500 mg / Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 10 mg / Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2 mg

Indication

For the control of the common cold, and also for allergic and vasomotor rhinitis, influenzal catarrh, sinusitis, and other related upper respiratory disorders.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg
• Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 10 mg
• Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2 mg

Direction

Administer 3 or 4 times a day. Adults: take 1 to 2 tablets per dose, up to a maximum of 6 tablets in 24 hours. Children 2 to 6 years: take 1/2 tablet per dose, up to a maximum of 1.5 tablets in 24 hours. Children 7 to 12 years: take 1/2 to 1 tablet per dose, up to a maximum of 3 tablets in 24 hours. Or as prescribed by a physician.

Side effects

• Rare skin reactions such as rash or urticaria may occur.
• May cause mild central nervous system stimulation in sensitive patients.
• Sedative effects from slight drowsiness to deeper sleep may occur.

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with hyperthyroidism
• diabetes mellitus
• or ischemic heart disease.
• Discontinue at the first appearance of skin rash or any sign of hypersensitivity.
• May cause drowsiness or mild CNS stimulation
• avoid driving or operating machinery if affected.
• Do not use in patients with severe hepatic impairment
• severe renal impairment
• hypertension
• acute asthma attack
• or hypersensitivity to any component.
