Oral Aid Lotion Lignocaine 2.5% / Chlorhexidine HCl 0.5% / Triamcinolone Acetonide 0.1%

Indication

An anaesthetic, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory agent used in mouth infections or oral lesions. It helps heal and relieve pain and discomfort in acute and chronic lesions of the gum, palate, cheek, and tongue.

Ingredients

• Lignocaine 2.5%
• Chlorhexidine HCl 0.5%
• Triamcinolone Acetonide 0.1%

Direction

Adults: apply to the affected area up to every one to two hours as required. For external use only.

Side effects

• Allergic contact dermatitis such as skin rash
• redness
• itching
• or hives may occur.
• Burning
• stinging
• swelling
• or tenderness not present before therapy may occur.
• Transient taste disturbance and a burning sensation of the tongue may occur on initial use.
• Hypersensitivity reactions
• including anaphylactic shock
• are possible.

Precautions

• Do not use in patients sensitive to lignocaine
• chlorhexidine
• or triamcinolone acetonide.
• Use with caution when there is local infection at the treatment area or severely traumatized mucosa
• because absorption of anaesthetic may increase.
• Chlorhexidine may rarely cause serious hypersensitivity or anaphylactic reactions
• stop use immediately if rash
• redness
• swelling
• breathing difficulty
• light
• headedness
• or rapid heartbeat occurs.
• Keep container tightly closed.
