Paracetamol BAILLY-CREAT 500 mg

Indication

Used for symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg

Direction

Adults and children from about 8 years of age weighing at least 27 kg: use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration. Children 27 to 40 kg: 1 tablet every 6 hours as needed, maximum 4 tablets per day. Children 41 to 49 kg: 1 tablet every 4 hours as needed, maximum 6 tablets per day. Adults and children 50 kg and above: 1 to 2 tablets every 4 hours as needed, maximum 6 tablets per day.

Side effects

• Rash

• or other allergic skin reactions
• Nausea
• abdominal pain
• or diarrhea
• Changes in liver tests or liver injury with overdose
• Rare blood count abnormalities such as thrombocytopenia or neutropenia

Precautions

• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• Avoid combining with other medicines containing paracetamol
• Use with caution in liver disease
• severe kidney impairment
• chronic alcohol use
• or known hypersensitivity to paracetamol
• Seek medical advice if pain lasts more than 5 days or fever lasts more than 3 days
