Doliprane 1000 mg 1000 mg

Indication

Used for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever, including headache, flu-like symptoms, toothache, body aches, period pain, and osteoarthritis pain on medical advice. This strength is intended for adults and adolescents weighing at least 50 kg, generally from 15 years of age.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 1000 mg

Direction

Oral use. Swallow 1 tablet whole with a glass of water. Repeat every 6 to 8 hours if needed, leaving at least 4 hours between doses. Do not take 2 tablets at the same time. Usual maximum is 3 tablets per day unless a doctor specifically advises up to 4 tablets per day.

Side effects

• Rare allergic skin reactions such as rash
• redness
• or swelling of the face and neck
• Rare sudden malaise with a drop in blood pressure
• Very rare abnormal blood counts such as low white blood cells or platelets
• which may cause nosebleeds or bleeding gums

Precautions

• Do not use with other medicines that contain paracetamol
• Do not take if allergic to paracetamol or if you have severe liver disease
• Consult a doctor before use if you have liver disease

• or weigh under 50 kg
• Seek medical advice if pain lasts more than 5 days or fever lasts more than 3 days
• Overdose can cause serious liver damage and requires immediate medical attention
