PENGESIC 50 mg

Indication

Analgesic indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain.

Ingredients

• Tramadol hydrochloride 50 mg

Direction

For oral use. Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over: dose should be adjusted to pain severity and patient response. Acute pain usually starts with 100 mg, then 50 to 100 mg every 4 to 6 hours if needed. Do not exceed 400 mg per day unless specifically directed by a clinician. Swallow capsules whole with sufficient liquid, with or without food.

Precautions

• Prescription opioid medicine
• risk of dependence
• misuse
• and withdrawal with repeated use.
• Use with caution in patients with epilepsy

• respiratory impairment
• hepatic impairment
• or renal impairment.
• Avoid combining with alcohol
• benzodiazepines
• MAO inhibitors
• or other serotonergic medicines unless medically supervised.
